Get Animated About Rights
RTÉjr is delighted to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Ireland’s Ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Ombudsman for Children’s Office has teamed up with Ireland’s top animators to invite children and young people, including those attending primary or secondary schools in the Republic of Ireland, to create an image of the children’s rights that means most to them.
Five winning original artworks will be chosen by the judges from Cartoon Saloon, Kavaleer Productions, Mooshku and PINKKONG studios to be animated and shown on the OCO website. Winners will receive a special tour of Brown Bag animation studio.
