Watering Can

  • Cut lots of slits around the edge of a paper plate. Fold the slits upwards to make tabs.

  • Stick a strip of double sided tape to the long edge of a large yellow rectangular piece of card.
  • Wrap the card around the paper plate at an angle to make the watering can shape, stick the tabs of the paper plate to the double sided tape.
  • Trim off the top and bottom and press the edge of the yellow card into the lip of the watering can.
  • Cut a long strip of yellow card and roll one end around a pencil to make it curly. Stick the non curly end into the top of the vase and the curly end to the outside of the vase to make a handle.
  • Cut lots of coloured foam/paper circles and stick them together in flower formations on the outside of the vase to decorate. Cut out leaf shapes and stick to the flowers.
  • To make the tulips: draw and cut a tulip segment shape from coloured card. Repeat x 1. Cut a small slit in the top of one segment and the bottom of the other segment and slot the two together to make a 3D tulip.

  • Stick a garden stick to the tulip for the stem.

  • Stick two card/foam leaf shapes to wither side of the stem.
  • Make lots of these and place them into the watering can like a vase.
